"Under-led and under-managed practices? Just not for me!"

I'm Max Habeck.

In all major firms, there are many good and solid partners around. Unfortunately, I’ve hardly seen them making the next step. Moreover, I’ve seen them flounder at new roles. Usually, the reason is unclear – for the partner.

Indeed, good intentions and solid work often don’t cut it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t succeed. If that’s what you want.

Realistically, you have to learn how to work the right building blocks. And become a better leader by finding someone who can help you chart and stay the course.

I know, because I’ve been there. Baffled, to tell the truth, by all the stuff my firm threw at me. While I struggled to stay afloat. Moreover, I watched the surprising promotions of colleagues, wondering, “what’s so special about them?”

Do you want to identify the steps necessary to unlock the status quo? Are you ready finally to build a practice that excites you and your people? That’s when I come in.

I’ve worked in consulting for 27 years. Firstly, in strategy consulting at A.T. Kearney, making practice-leader level. Later, I became a global managing partner in transaction advisory for EY, one of the world’s largest professional firms.

Consequently, I can draw from both perspectives. And help you become the leader you aspire to be. While enjoying every minute of it.
